Torchlight Media, a community-based multimedia arts and production studio for local youth and adults in downtown Belfast, announces its final exhibition of media work created since the pilot program launched in January of this year.

The event is free and takes place on Tuesday, June 11, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Colonial Theatre and the community is invited to attend, thanks to support from event sponsors Belfast Community Co-Op and GO Logic.

Inspired by the format for the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies at Maine College of Art & Design Final Exhibition, 12 high school students from the inaugural class of the Youth Multimedia Mentorship program — the "Torchlight Creatives" — will share and present work made during more than 40 hours of after-and-out-of-school sessions, from January through May.
